Omoyele Sowere, a human right activist, and a former Nigerian presidential candidate was arrested during the New year Eve and reportedly spent the new year in detention. The 50 year old Yoruba man, was arrested alongside some other persons and were charged for alleged criminal conspiracy and some other offences, including public disturbance.
Human rights activist, Omoleye Sowore, has caused a stir after he arrived in a Court, with a man dressed in Chief priest attire. The appearance of Sowore and the spiritual personnel at the Wuse Zone 2 Magistrate Court Abuja, caused a mild scene. The presence of the spiritual personnel at the Magistrate Court made a lot of people react as he was seen performing some spiritual worshipping activities when he entered into the Court.
Many people were astonished when Sowore arrived the Magistrate Court alongside a man dressed like a Native Doctor on Tuesday morning. People in the court including journalists, policemen, Court officials, and many other persons who were around the court premises were astonished and some of them reportedly burst into laughter.
