The Republic of Congo went to the pool on Saturday to vote in a man who would rule them for the next presidential tenure. The presidential poll was conducted on Saturday, 20th March.
News reaching ParadiseGist this Monday morning reports that the main opposition leader in the Congo Republic Presidential poll, Guy Brice Parfait Kolelas has died. The Congo’s presidential candidate is reported to have died on Sunday, a day after the presidential poll was conducted in the country.
According to some verified sources, the 61 year old has died of Covid-19.
According to his campaign director, Christian Cyr Rodrigue Mayanda on Monday, he said that the Congo Presidential aspirant died in a medical aircraft which arrived to fly him from Brazzaville on Sunday.
